Dr. Dawn Wilson, professor of education; Dr. Katie Alaniz, assistant professor of education; and Joshua Sikora, chair of the Department of Cinema, Media Arts, and Writing, co-authored a book entitled Digital Media in Today’s Classrooms: The Potential for Meaningful Teaching, Learning, and Assessment. Their book was released in November by Rowman & Littlefield Education.
The purpose of this book is to help guide teachers and students in benefiting from the vast potential of educationally-driven digital media as a tool for meaningful teaching, learning, and assessment.
Drs. Wilson and Alaniz have worked together on multiple projects and presentations, all relating to educational technology. See more of how they impact the culture here. They have also spoken at several conferences, which can be learned about here. Read more about Joshua Sikora’s work.
