  • Receive: How Can The HBU Community Help You

Faculty, Staff, and Students are the heartbeat of HBU.  We know that some of you have gone through many hardships, and while we may not be able to fix or mend all wounds, we want to be able to walk alongside you during this time and support you where we can.

If you are part of the HBU family (faculty, staff, or student) and you have experienced or are still enduring through hardship as a result of the flood (transportation, lodging, food, necessities, financially), please take some time and detail this through the Advocate report system.  Please select “General” for the type of report. HBU personnel may reach out to you to see if there is a way we can be of service.

Fill out an Advocate report here.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.” 2 Cor. 1:3-5

  • Prayer & Worship & Counseling

    Prayer & Worship:
HBU faculty, staff, and students are available to pray with you and also hear your praise reports.  Gather together with your fellow Huskies and let your praise and prayers reach the heavens. Stop by the Student Life Office (above the bookstore) if you are in need of prayer.

Here are some people you can reach out to!

    Care & Counseling:
If you are in need to process what has happened or is happening during this catastrophe, or if you just need someone to talk to or pray with, counseling services will be available at the normal hours, starting Tuesday, September 5th.
