Nursing Student Association – Houston Baptist University is proud to have a local chapter for the National Nursing Student Association. The HBU chapter of the Nursing Student Association aligns itself with the University’s Ten Pillar Vision. We seek to increase our cultural impact and establish a society of learning through health education and community outreach to achieve a more global focus. We seek to enhance students’ lives through meaningful interaction among themselves and other healthcare professionals. The Nursing Student Organization at the School of Nursing & Allied Health is located in the Cullen Science Building, room S119.

Texas Nursing Students’ Association, Inc. (TNSA) – A student nursing association dedicated to promoting professionalism and leadership for today’s students. We represent over 3,000 student nurses from across the state preparing for initial licensure as registered nurses. Their mission is to provide the highest education for student nurses while aiding in the development of the whole person. To have direct input into the standards on nursing education and influence on the education process. To model a high level of integrity among students in their dealings with people as they strive for excellence in everything they do, as it is an expectation and not a goal.

National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) – With a membership of 60,000 nationwide, the National Student Nurses’ Association mentors the professional development of future registered nurses and facilitates their entrance into the profession by providing educational resources, leadership opportunities, and career guidance.
