Dr. David Grubbs, assistant professor of English, presented a paper entitled “Hearing Caedmon’s Hymn on the Stage of Sacred History” at the “Cultural, Criticism, and the Christian Mind” conference at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa from November 2 through 5, 2017. Dr. Grubbs also participated in a live recording of the Christian Humanist Podcast, a featured event of the conference. The podcast was a panel discussion of T. S. Eliot’s essay, “The Idea of a Christian Society.”
