On August 14, the entry by Dr. Sara Frear, associate professor of History in the Department of History and Great Texts, on George Washington Antoine, an African-American physician who practiced in Houston in the early 1900s, was published in the Handbook of Houston, an online encyclopedia published by the Texas State Historical Association.
