The Houston Baptist University leadership and community mourn the loss of former Texas Governor Mark White. Mr. White is known for being a strong proponent of Texas education. He was a friend of the University as well, most recently serving on the Engineering Program Advisory Board.
HBU President Dr. Robert B. Sloan said, “I offer my condolences to Mr. White’s loved ones. We value his influence, and the contributions he made to the development of the University. Each of us will miss his presence and his friendship.”
