Dr. Lisa Ellis, assistant professor in the Department of Biology, was invited to speak at the 6th Annual Presidential Career Symposium held in February 2017. The symposium was hosted by the universities and hospitals in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX. Dr. Ellis participated in a panel discussion, sharing her teaching experiences with graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in various Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) disciplines.
