Dr. Joshua R. Farris, Assistant Professor of Theology, presented two papers at the recent Southeast Evangelical Theological and Philosophical Societies held at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. First, he presented “Capturing Edwards’s Human Substance: Anti-Realism vs. Realism”. Second, he presented “IMAGO DEI AS A KIND PROPERTY: A common property view”. Dr. Farris also presented at the Southwest Evangelical Theological and Philosophical Societies held at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Tx. First, he co-presented Reparative Substitution and the “Efficacy Objection: Toward a modified Satisfaction Model of Atonement”. Second, he co-presented “Against Communal Penal Substitution”.
