After completing graduate school, Dr. Clardy worked for over 7 years as a consultant for different companies, including Econ One in Los Angeles and Skipping Stone in Houston.  Her focus was on the oil and gas industry—in particular the wholesale trading of natural gas and power.

Dr. Clardy’s community activities include various volunteer activities at her church, Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, in particular the youth choir, Agape.  Dr. Clardy is married and has one daughter in high school at Trinity Classical School.  She also tries to fit in time for reading, yoga, and cooking.
