Dr. Schneider’s primary teaching focus is health administration. He also teaches courses in business and finance and leads annual health administration study abroad courses in Europe.
He has published in John Hopkins Journal for the Poor and Underserved. He has also written for Executive View Magazine, a bi-annual publication that covers the complex challenges and leadership topics of interest to medical practice executives.
Dr. Schneider received the distinguished Outstanding Dissertation of 2013 award from Central Michigan University. Dr. Schneider was also named by healthcare administrator.org as one of the best health administration professors in the nation in 2015-16. Dr. Schneider has earned Board Certification and Fellow status with the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American College of Medical Practice Executives.

Dr. Schneider has served in the healthcare administration profession for over 20 years in such roles as hospital Chief Executive Officer, and Associate Vice-President for a large academic health system.
Personal Interests or Hobbies
Active in ministry, Dr. Schneider teaches a Christian Apologetics adult bible study on Sunday mornings and teaches children’s church on Wednesday evenings at Sagemont Church. He also plays trumpet in the church orchestra. When not serving at Sagemont Church, he assists his wife Lisa who owns and runs Joyful Theatre Company; a Christian musical theatre in Friendswood, TX for children age 6-18.
