Bilingual Education Student Organization (BESO)

The purpose of this organization shall be to:

• Promote bilingual education
• To enhance the study of the Spanish language and culture as they apply to bilingual education
• To provide the students the means by which they may acquaint themselves with the aforesaid
• Through the participation in activities which normally fall beyond the scope of classroom endeavors
• Promote professional awareness in future bilingual teachers through participation in the Texas Association for Bilingual Education
