What is Olympic Lifting?
Open to all members of Crossfit Altus and the outside population if interested, our Olympic Lifting Classes are designed to help improve the technique and execution of the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. These sessions are made to be supplemental to one’s current training regimen. We meet twice per week (Tuesday and Thursday at Noon and 6:30 PM), and each session focuses on one lift. Participants can expect to do various different drills and accessory lifts to help with coordination, strength, explosion, and execution. The design of these classes is based on the needs of the athletes attending, and last for 60 minutes. Each session is very hands on, and you can expect a lot of attention from a coach.
