Education & Training:
Born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Houston, Texas, Dane moved to San Antonio in March of 2014 to follow his job as an Outside Salesman with ACME Brick Company. While in San Antonio he began to also work as a coach under the watchful eye of Steve Galvan at 210 Crossfit. Dane grew up with a background in athletics, sport, and competition. He had the opportunity to play college baseball (including 1 season at HBU), along with one year of pro baseball. In December of 2010 Dane graduated with his B.S. in Kinesiology from Kansas State University. Always having an interest in health and fitness, Dane found Crossfit in 2012 and started trying it out at the local gym he had access to. In 2013 Dane joined his first affiliate (Crossfit Kemah) after finding the training regimen brought him back to his training he was used to in college. After moving to San Antonio and becoming a member of the 210 family, Dane began to learn under Steve about Olympic Weightlifting, along with enhancing his knowledge about proper movement techniques in Crossfit. The knowledge he has gained from this experience is second to none and he is eager to pass it on to others. Crossfit has changed his life, and now he enjoys passing the knowledge of health and fitness on to others. Along the way, Dane has become more athletic and stronger than ever before both physically and mentally.
Crossfit is about becoming a better person as a whole, and he would like to help anyone and everyone he can achieve their goals.
