Position Summary

Houston Baptist University seeks a professor in management for the Archie W. Dunham College of Business.  Rank will be commensurate with qualifications. The ideal candidate will have a primary emphasis in human resource management with organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, or strategy as a secondary area, but we will consider candidates with closely related interests. Candidates should be available to begin work in August 2017. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. This position is pending budgetary approval.

Job Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in management. Conduct research sufficient to maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic (SA) status. Perform service activities consistent with HBU’s teaching mission. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Candidates should have a PhD or DBA from an AACSB-accredited school.  ABD will be considered if the degree will be completed by August 2017. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications. The Archie W. Dunham College of Business at Houston Baptist University is seeking AACSB accreditation and anticipates entering AACSB candidacy in 24 months. Preference will be given to candidates that have experience with the AACSB accreditation process.
