Houston Baptist University (HBU) announces a full-time position for Assistant Professor to begin Fall of 2017 to serve in the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) Executive Educational Leadership Program. The Ed.D. Executive Educational Leadership is part of the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences.
Teaching graduate/undergraduate classes, maintaining an active research program appropriate for a teaching institution, and service activities as required.
The successful candidate will have completed a doctorate in psychology, educational administration, counseling, curriculum and instruction, or special populations. Graduate level teaching experience, instructional technology skills and experience chairing dissertation committees. Candidates might also be needed to teach in another specialty area based on their academic preparation. In addition to teaching, faculty members are expected to be productive scholars and active in service to students, the College and the community.
