CAPP Degree Evaluation
What is CAPP?
CAPP is the acronym for the Curriculum, Advising and Program Planning module. CAPP tracks a student’s progress toward completion of their degree program.
Who can use the CAPP degree evaluation?
All degree seeking students can use CAPP.
Does this mean I no longer need to see my faculty advisor about my degree plan?
No. CAPP is not a replacement for your advising program. Rather, it is a tool that you and your advisor(s) can use to monitor your academic progress.
Is CAPP the OFFICIAL degree audit?
A CAPP degree audit is not considered OFFICIAL until the Office of the Registrar certifies it.
What are the “general requirements” and the “detail requirements" screens for?
The “general requirements” section lists the overall degree requirements for the particular program.
The “detail requirements” display option breaks down the different areas for the degree program and lists courses the student has taken to satisfy each area’s requirements.
You are recommended to use the “detail requirements”.
What is the link? How do I access HuskyNet?
HuskyNet can be accessed through
by clicking on the "HuskyNet Secure Site" link on the left hand side.
Or you can go directly to
Why is the Expected Date of Graduation on my evaluation incorrect?
The expected date of graduation will be correctly reflected on your degree evaluation once an Intent to Graduate form is filed with the Office of the Registrar.
Does the CAPP evaluation include my in-progress courses?
CAPP will include courses in which you are enrolled if you select the current term for the term in your degree evaluation..
Some requirements have “and” & “or” next to them. What does this mean?
A requirement with an “or” beside it means that you can take the requirement it is listed next to or the one listed above it. A requirement with an “and” next to it means that you must take both the requirement it is listed next to and the one above it.
What happens to a course when I receive an “I” (incomplete) grade?
Courses with incomplete grades appear as unused on the evaluation until a final grade has been recorded. Once a grade is recorded, the course will be listed appropriately.
What do I do if CAPP lists my major(s) incorrectly?
To update your major(s), you must complete the Declaration and/or Change of Major form. This form is available at the Office of the Registrar or can be downloaded from the Office of the Registrar’s webpage. Authorized signatures must be obtained before the form can be filed with the Office of the Registrar.
How can I find my major GPA?
For most majors, all of your required courses are listed in one area. The grade point average at the end of this area is your major GPA.
