Get StartedI have found community at HBU unlike anything I have ever experienced before. I have gained lifelong friends through my relationships with fellow students, professors, and staff members. There has never been a season of my life where I have grown more as a disciple of Christ, and that is largely due to the quality of people that are found on HBU’s campus.
I am from a small high school where I was close with both the teachers and counselors. I was hoping to have that same experience at HBU and what I have encountered here was so much more than I ever thought possible. As a part of the Honors College, although my classes are academically challenging, I find myself looking forward to going to class since my classmates and professors are amazing people to be around.
HBU has given me the opportunity to flourish in all aspects – academically, personally, and spiritually. I have established a deep commitment to my friends here – they are there for me when I need prayer, or someone to talk to, or help with a class. I have found a sense of community at HBU, and have not just found friends here – I have found family.
