Mr. Balat’s areas of interest and specialization are in Drawing, Painting, and 2D Design.

Mr. Balat has shown in international museums and galleries including the National Museum in Lima Peru and the Shanghai Museum of Art in Shanghai China. Mr. Balat serves in the video committee for the department of art. Mr. Balat has achieved numerous honors and awards including Graduate Artistic Scholarship at Texas Christian University, Artist Residency in Hilmsen Germany, and Acceptance in the Texas National 2009 curated by Mel Chin.
