A transient student is defined as any student currently enrolled in another institution who wishes to take classes for credit at Houston Baptist University.

So you want to take a couple of classes at HBU as a transient student? No problem! Many students who are enrolled at other institutions choose HBU as a convenient place to take a few classes before heading back to their universities.     

Transient Student Admissions Checklist:

You should submit the following to the Office of Admissions:

• Application for Admission
• Official transcript or letter of good standing from institution most recently attended. An official transcript/score must be mailed directly to Houston Baptist University from issuing institution to be considered official.
