Our Strategies
The repeating dynamics of the HBU Center for Christianity in Business are research, communication and education. Research efforts lend momentum to the downstream component of communication. Multivariate communication bridges academia to the global business community where research problems are identified and research findings are tested. Education capitalizes on the CCB’s cyclical methodology by delivering the theoretical into the practical by investing the newest thinking and most contemporary methods into current and future leaders.
The Center’s Research commitment stands to provide forums for scholarly dialogue on Christianity in business, to organize and raise funds for leading edge research on business ethics, and corporate leadership, and to become a recognized tributary of courageous debate referencing the merger of faith, scripture and organizational leadership. The Center’s Communication commitment assures the broad involvement of students, faculty, and business executives for the integration of faith and excellent business practices into both traditional corporate enterprises and not-for-profit organizations. The Center’s contribution to Education will be to convene groups of people from academia, charitable and ministry organizations, and world business structures to engage in classroom teaching, seminar presentation and specific training efforts. These educational exchanges will be enriched by the Center’s programmatic research and constant dialog between faculty/students and the business community.
