Give it a Tweet: Library now on Twitter

The library is pleased to announce that a library Twitter page is now available. You can find us at http://www.twitter.com/hbumoodylibrary. Twitter is proving to be a valuable communication tool. For instance, Channel 13’s Weather Department has over 2,000 people signed up with Twitter for weather updates and warnings. It also allows average people to communicate with the meteorologists by asking weather questions or sharing local storm information across the area.  

We hope you will take advantage of this same type of communication via the library’s Twitter page. We will be sharing library tweets about new developments and services, changes to current services, updates to our new LibGuides pages, or other problems important to those who use our services. We also hope to hear comments and questions from you along the way.  

The library is here to serve and help make you as successful as possible with your research needs. Twitter is one way we can let you know about what is happening at your campus library and services that can impact your research. We hope you can take advantage of this new tool.
