Once you finish your MLA degree, you don't have to stop learning!

An increasing number of our MLA graduates have enjoyed the experience so much that they continue to take courses offered by the MLA program even after they receive their MLA degree!  Houston Baptist University, like many schools in the Association of Graduate Liberal Studies Programs, offers you post-graduate advanced study for its MLA graduates through the MLA Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) option!

After the completion of thirty additional course hours beyond the MLA degree, you will be awarded a diploma-style certificate entitled the Certificate of Advanced Study.  The Certificate of Advanced Study represents the highest achievement in graduate liberal studies programs.  You will be recognized at our fall banquet and the Certificate of Advanced Study will be presented to you in a handsome University frame.

Courses taken in pursuit of the CAS are offered at a flat rate of $600 per course to MLA graduates, and this includes your books!
