If you want to exercise your mind, now is the time to apply!  If you are accepted, you can start working on your master's degree at the start of the next semester!

Admission to the MLA program at Houston Baptist University is simple, but you must meet the following three requirements.

Requirements:

  2. You must have an undergraduate GPA of 3.00 or better (4.0 scale).   On occasion we will make an exception for applicants with lower GPAs (2.5 is the absolute minimum) if you feel that you would benefit from the MLA program and our admissions committee determines that you are a viable candidate with a good probability of success.

(An international student must have a total score of 550 or better on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and an application must be completed and returned to the Graduate Admissions Office with an $100 non-refundable fee.
