Founded in 1960, Houston Baptist University, a Texas Baptist institution, is a coeducational, independent university.

Our 100-acre campus is located in Houston, Texas, one of the nation's most vibrant and diverse cities.

HBU students come from many different cultural and religious backgrounds.

Our Faculty:
At HBU, 75 percent of professors hold the highest degrees in their fields, and 100 percent of HBU classes are taught by fully-qualified faculty. Our student-to-faculty ratio is 15:1.
