The Department of Behavioral Science offers undergraduate majors in:

Psychology
Many students who major in psychology are in preparation for graduate study in counseling, clinical, experimental, developmental, social, physiological, or other sub-fields of psychology. Their professional goals are focused on private practice, college teaching or research in their fields of specialization. Other students may decide to pursue such careers as the Christian ministry, social work, personnel, corrections, and law enforcement for which psychology provides an excellent background.

Sociology
Students interested in sociology will experience a broad range of social phenomena ranging from the dynamics of interactions and relationships, to the composition and workings of entire societies.  A sociology degree provides students the opportunity to obtain a strong liberal arts degree with an excellent base for pursuing a professional or graduate degree in sociology.
