I'M ACCEPTED!!! ... now what?

Congratulations! You're on your way to officially becoming a Husky!  We look forward to welcoming you to the HBU Family and answering any questions that you may have about enrolling at HBU.

There are still a few things you need to do before you get to campus:

  • Register for Classes
Summer Registration opportunities will be added here as they become available.  Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) dates for students entering in enrolling in Fall 2010 will be available on March 1 - please check back then to RSVP.
  • Secure your spot for the Summer & Fall of 2010 with your enrollment deposit
It is an exciting time in the history of HBU and we hope you will be a part of it.  You must pay your enrollment deposit prior to registering for classes.  By paying your enrollment deposit, you will ensure that you have a spot at HBU.  It's $100 and will apply toward your first semester's Tuition and Fees.
    ***Pay your deposit today!***
You'll not only guarantee your spot as a future Husky, but you'll also receive your "Accepted!" T-shirt so you can show your Husky pride.
  • Apply for Campus Living
Planning to live on campus? Live within driving distance, but thinking about avoiding the traffic?  If you are, visit campus living and find out all you need to know about living and dining on campus.  There are great opportunities for students in our Women's Residence College (WRC), Men's Residence College (WRC) and, coming in the Fall of 2008, our New Residence College (NRC).
  • Check out our Scholarship Opportunities
There are several automatic scholarships for Freshman and Transfer students, along with a few that require some additional documents, so check out the many opportunities that we offer.
  • Submit your FAFSA
The priority deadline for submitting the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be considered for financial aid is March 1st.  It is highly recommended that you submit the FAFSA, even if you think your family may not qualify.
  • Visit Campus
We'd love to show you around your new home away from home!  From the residence halls to the classrooms, visiting campus is a great way to get an idea of what awaits you at HBU.
  • Get ready for Welcome Days
Learn what it takes to be a Husky! Make friends, have fun and get loads of helpful information to get your college experience off to a great start. Go read the details.
  • Show your Husky pride!
Visit the HBU Bookstore! Grab your own HBU t-shirt, car decal, or notebooks and find the books you'll need for your classes.
