HBU offers a variety of on campus dining options to fit the schedules and needs of our students. The main campus dining area, the Baugh Center offers fresh, healthy and diverse options. The menu changes constantly and features fresh produce, vegetarian options, breakfast waffles, made-to-order entrées, grill favorites, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, home-style options and much more. Students can find even more dining options at Java City, Husky Express, P.O.D. Express and Chik Fil A.
All students living on campus are required to participate in a meal plan.
Meal plans are comprised of two components:
Each plan has a certain number of meals either per week or per semester. These meals are redeemed by swiping your card and are considered “all you care to eat.” These meals are also non-transferable and are available per week or per semester depending on the plan purchased. They do not roll over.
Each plan has a cash value assigned to it as “Declining Balance Dollars (DBD).” DBD can be used to purchase food on a per item basis and are good for the entire semester. Unused Declining Balance Dollars carry over for returning students from the fall to the spring semester only. Additional DBD can be added to any meal plan throughout the year.
Meal plans do not include university vacation periods or breaks between semesters. In the event that a resident needs to alter his/her meal plan, a meal plan change form may be obtained in the HBU Residence Life Office. Meal plan changes are only allowed during the first two weeks of the term.
You can find daily menus (including nutritional information), hours of operation for all our locations and pricing for meal plans on the HBU Campus Dining website
