All residence colleges close for winter break on December 14, 5pm.
There is no food service during the break.
No guests are allowed to visit in residence colleges during the winter break.
Appeals to stay over break are due December 7.
No late appeals will be accepted.
Important Dates
Fall 2011-12
August 8 - The last day new residents may obtain the
meningitis immunization vaccination and still move in before the start of the Fall term.
August 18* - Move-In for new residents (
Welcome Days).
August 20 - Move-In day for returning residents (after 1pm).
August 21 - The first meal offered in the Baugh Center is brunch.
September 2 - The last day to make adjustments to dining memberships (meal plans).
December 7 - Appeals to stay over winter break are due by 5pm.
December 13 - The last meal of the fall term is dinner.
December 14 - The Residence Colleges close at 5:00 pm.
December 14 - The move-out day for students who cancel Spring housing (schedule with Res Life staff).
December 18 - The move-out day for December graduates only (schedule with Res Life staff).
Spring 2011-12
* The spring move-in day for new residents will be contingent upon the date of immunization for meningitis. The immunization must be completed 10 days prior to moving onto campus.
January 7 - Move-In for new residents (after 1pm).
January 7 - Residence Colleges open at 1pm for returning students.
January 8 - The first meal offered in the Baugh Center is brunch.
