Preview Weekend



Preview Weekend- February 12-13, 2016--RSVP Today!  

  • Option 1: High School juniors and seniors are welcome to spend the night on campus Friday, February 12th and then attend Saturday's events. 
  • Option 2: High School students can join us for Friday night's events but not spend the night on campus.  *Note: You must let us know that you are not spending the night before arriving on campus Friday.
  • Option 3: All transfer students, as well as High School students not wanting to spend the night, can join us on Saturday, February 13th to meet current Huskies and faculty, get to know some of our student organizations, and attend information sessions.


Friday Night Activities- High School junior and seniors only
Tentative Schedule:
6:00 p.m. Check-in - In McNair Hall of the Morris Cultural Arts Center
6:30 p.m. Dinner - Baugh Center
7:00 p.m. Various campus activities, special entertainment guests, and the chance to hang out with current HBU Huskies at the Bradshaw Fitness Center!

**Students will be staying overnight in the Men's Residence College and the Woman's Residence College with current HBU students.

9:00 a.m. Check-in Begins - Morris Cultural Arts Center
9:00-9:45 a.m. Breakfast for overnight guests - Baugh Dining Hall
9:00-9:45 a.m. Coffee Available for parents/other guests - Morris Center
10:00 a.m. Opening Session - Dunham Theater
10:45 a.m. Break-out for Special Interest Sessions - Various locations
10:45-11:30 a.m.
11:35-12:20 p.m.

12:20-1:30 p.m. Campus and Residence College Tours Available - front of Baugh Center
12:20-1:45 p.m. Lunch ($5 per parent/guest) - Baugh Dining Hall
1:00-2:00 p.m. Academic Open House  & Student Organization Fair - McNair Hall
2:00-2:30 p.m. Closing Session - Belin Chapel


If you are joining us Friday night be sure to bring the following:
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Pillow
  • Toiletries
  • Comfortable clothes & shoes
  • A sweater or jacket  
  • Towel
  • Alarm Clock
  • Blanket 


Where will you stay?
Current HBU students will host the prospective students in our on-campus housing.
