Teaching Focus
Dr. Green enjoys introducing students to the discipline of philosophy and helping them think and write clearly. He is excited about HBU’s philosophy majors and looks forward to preparing them for graduate school and the wide variety of careers they are going to pursue.

His main research interests are in metaphysics and epistemology and the intersection of M&E with questions in philosophy of religion. He has published papers in philosophy of religion and just war theory.
Dr. Green is an active member of several philosophical organizations including the Evangelical Philosophy Society, the Society of Christian Philosophers, and the American Philosophy Association.
Dr. Green is in his fourth year at HBU. Previously, he taught philosophy for two years at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. He enjoys hanging out with his two Jack Russell Terriers, Peekaboo and Plato. Finally, he is blessed to share his life with wife Kara.
