Dr. Getz’s teaching focus is on the core program in the Honors College. His area of specialization is in the study of Religion and Literature.
His writing interests include seventeenth-century literature, Epicurean atomism and Christian providence, and Reformed Scholasticism. Professional presentation has included work on seventeenth-century poetics and aesthetics, and OT typology and political theory.
While at HBU, Dr. Getz has served on the Honors College Committee, the Research and Development Council Committee, and the Faculty Standards Committee.
Dr. Getz is currently a member of the choir at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
