Teaching Focus
Mr. Teltschik's teaching focus is in the pure math area such as abstract algebra and topology. He also enjoys teaching fundamental courses such as college algebra and math for critical thinking.
Additional Information
His mathematical interests are largely centered on the foundations of math and the theory associated with its development. Reading interest concern the history of labor in the United States and world wide.
While at HBU, Mr. Teltschik has served on the Social Committee, Fringe Benefit Committee, and the Dean and Chair Evaluation Committee for the COSM.
Mr. Teltschik was a longshoreman with ILA local 20 and ILA local 307 from 1976 to 1986 and continues to be a member of the ILA. Mr. Teltschik is also a member of the Greater Houston Locksmith Association.
Mr. Teltschik and his wife Patricia have two daughters and one granddaughter. Hobbies and interest include camping, locksmith work, mechanics, motorcycles, and raising Koi and other pond fish.
