Dr. Osterloh's primary teaching focus is inorganic chemistry. She also teaches introductory and general chemistry courses and labs.
Dr. Osterloh’s research interests are organometallic chemistry and catalysis. Current research involves development of general chemistry and inorganic chemistry lab experiments for use in our current lab courses and future lab courses. Dr. Osterloh has been a member of the American Chemical Society since 1976. For almost 25 years, Dr. Osterloh worked at Nalco, a specialty chemical company, ending her career there as a research manager.
