HBU Alumni Association

Membership

Membership is open to all alumni of the University and, as a graduate or former student of HBU, you’re automatically a member of the HBU Alumni Association.

On behalf of the Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni Relations at Houston Baptist University, thank you for visiting our website. We believe that the Alumni Association is a great way for you to reconnect with your University and fellow alumni.

The Alumni Association boasts more than 17,000 former students, a large percentage of whom reside in the greater Houston area. Currently, there is no cost associated with membership, and active participation is encouraged and welcomed!

HBU is a special place, but without you - the former students who brought life to the campus - it would simply be a handful of buildings. You, our alumni friends, are HBU.  Whether you walked across the graduation stage just a couple of years ago or whether that memory is now very distant, you are what made, and what continues to make this a special place.

As an HBU alumnus, you are well-positioned to influence the University's future, and your contributions of time, talent, and treasure have real impact. We recognize that HBU alumni live all over the nation, and we want to help you get involved with the University in your area of greatest joy, wherever you are.  Whether you live in the Houston region, in other great Texas cities, or across the country, you can still be part of the exciting things happening at HBU. Opportunities include participating in the Career Shadowing Program, serving on an alumni association committee, supporting athletics, and giving to scholarships through the Alumni Scholarship and HBU Scholarship Funds.

Christa Hall and Amy YoungbloodThe staff of the Office of Alumni Relations and the Office of Advancement work steadfastly with the Alumni Board of Directors to uphold the mission of HBU, and to serve you by advancing HBU’s institutional reputation to benefit you and the future graduates who will join the ranks of more than 17, 000 alumni. Our programs, events, and services are designed to give you opportunities to rekindle the friendships you treasured during your time at HBU and to stay connected to your alma mater.
