The Dunham Bible Museum, with its extensive collection of rare Bibles, is dedicated to telling the story of the most important book in the world. On public display are:

The Museum's creative exhibits awaken and enhance an appreciation of the history, preservation, and influence of the one Book most influential in individual lives and in the culture of civilizations.

Picturing the Word: Bible Illustrations from the 15th and 16th centuries

Opened at the Dunham Bible Museum January 2012 and will continue through September 2012.

Picturing the Word draws upon the Dunham Bible Museum's collections and features Biblia Pauperum, with their woodblock pages combining Old and New Testament illustrations and designed to teach the illiterate. Also featured are illustrations from the earliest English Bibles, which had often first been used on the Continent and demonstrate the international character of 15th and 16th century Bible printing.
