Houston Baptist University seeks a professor in marketing for the School of Business. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications. Candidates should be available to begin work in August 2015 or earlier. Review of applications will begin immediately, and continue until the position is filled.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in marketing. Professional experience in a related field will be an advantage. The candidate will provide documentation of an excellent teaching record and evidence of scholarly interests and achievements. Candidates should be able to teach in one or more of the following areas: marketing research, international business, marketing management, and marketing strategy.
The successful candidate will also be able to articulate a vision for the role of his or her discipline at HBU that is supportive of the Ten Pillars vision statement; the Ten Pillars vision statement may be found at www.hbu.edu/tenpillars.
