Houston Baptist University seeks a professor in marketing for the School of Business. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications. Candidates should be available to begin work in August 2015 or earlier. Review of applications will begin immediately, and continue until the position is filled.
Candidates should have a PhD or DBA from an AACSB-accredited school. ABD will be considered if the degree will be completed by August 2015. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications. The School of Business at Houston Baptist University is a member of AACSB and anticipates entering AACSB candidacy in 12-18 months. Preference will be given to candidates that have experience with the AACSB accreditation process.
The successful candidate will also be able to articulate a vision for the role of his or her discipline at HBU that is supportive of the Ten Pillars vision statement; the Ten Pillars vision statement may be found at www.hbu.edu/tenpillars
