Dr. Sloan addresses HBU students and reminds them that God is working in our lives even when things don't go the way we plan. We say, “God’s been good to me.” But even when things aren’t good, God is still at work. God does his best work through suffering, especially the sufferings of Jesus. We think that a sense of peace is a sign that God is working, and it is, but God is also at work when we are afflicted and unsettled.
